Afrikaners – denied government benefits and food-aid from the ANC regime because they are ‘whites’ – also are apparently not allowed to raise funds for their own people without accusations of 'stirring up Afrikaner nationalism':
--  Research-journalist De Wet Potgieter, writes for the ANC-news-sheet The New Age: with its undemocratic logo: "One Country - One Paper'...

Potgieter claims in his article below, March 6 2012 - that 'coloured viewers of the Afrikaans television channel kykNet are up in arms, claiming that the all-white trade union Solidarity, and its Helping Hand Fund want to hijack the station for their own objectives."

HELPING HAND SOLIDARITY GETS ATTACKED BY ANC NEWSPAPER FOR WANTING TO HELP POOR AFRIKANERS
And what are those evil objectives of Helping Hand? To help desperate poor Afrikaners survive..

Helping Hand charity – (" which mainly supports white Afrikaans-speaking poor and homeless people", Potgieter writes accusingly ) - places charity-funding inserts into the popular soap Villa Rosa to raise funds for a study bursary for ONE destitute Afrikaner child.

KYKNET VILLA ROSA SOAPIE ROW OVER FUNDRAISER FOR AFRIKANER POOR

And horrors! Helping Hand's management Solidarity was also 'negotiating a deal with KykNet to 'produce inserts on welfare issues for the gospel music programme, DKNT Gospel."

We are left speechless: apparently, raising funds to help rescue even a few Afrikaners from their desperate and rapidly growing poverty – directly caused by the ANC regime’s black-economic-empowerment job-restriction laws and its refusal to give food-aid and government benefits to ‘whites’ -- ,  is apparently so evil that 'Christo van der Rheede, a prominent coloured community leader as ex-ceo of the Afrikaans Trade Institute warned that this (fundraising) could drive a wedge into the Afrikaans-speaking community,’ according to Potgieter.

Afrikaners are not even allowed to raise their own funds to help their own people any more without being attacked: Yet KykNet reeived only ONE complaint’, admitted its spokeswoman.  However she hastened to say: “if we are not happy with the way the administration is done I will not hesitate to cancel it immediately. KykNET will not allow its presenters to influence anybody to favour a particular organisation.’

The 'accusation' of involvement in DKNT gospel was moreover also denied by Helping Hand: they would 'only manage and administer the bursary fund “as every other bursary fund” under the control of its Afrikaans Bursary Fund Institute”:  Helping Hand spokeswoman Juanita du Preez referred all enquiries regarding the handling of the sms-fundraiser on behalf of Villa Rosa to KykNet.

De Wet Potgieter quoted only one 'coloured' person when he wrote: "One of the main concerns from coloured viewers is that Solidarity Helping Hand Fund will be “collecting valuable data through the sms campaign from KykNet viewers “to be used for their own recruiting drives for funding in the Afrikaans communities." “We are not aware of any problems,” Du Preez told him.

Van der Rheede: “It will be a sad day if the Solidarity Helping Hand Fund is allowed to hijack public media to further its own exclusive Afrikaner-nationalistic objectives."  He quickly followed this up with his own ANC-propaganda-blurb, adding:  ‘since the dawning of democracy in 1994 an inclusive Afrikaner community had emerged where Afrikaans-speaking South Africans across the colour line started joining hands in building a new united and inclusive Afrikaner culture. I am concerned that the threat of a division within the ranks of Afrikaans-speaking South Africans would undo many people’s efforts to rid Afrikaans of its apartheid baggage."

Now it’s ‘apartheid-baggage’ to want to help your own desperate people?

It seems that Afrikaners are not even allowed to raise funds for their own people - even though they are being denied all government-aid only because they are 'whites'

I asked De Wet Potgieter for advice today: since his article had made it clear that Helping Hand was not allowed to do raise funds for the Afrikaner poor,  II asked him whether The New Age would now be launching an independent fund-raising campaign for impoverished Afrikaners --  illustrated by his own briliant pictures from Afrikaner-squatter camps he has amassed over the years when he was stilll working for Solidarity trade union as their researcher into Afrikaner poverty. I am awaiting his reply.

To me, it’s a matter of some urgency: I recently helped register the Afrikaner Rescue Action Fund charity in Leeuwarden, the Netherlands. Their purpose: to raise funds for the empoverished Afrikaner communities.

I feel that as long as the ANC-regime keeps discriminating against the Afrikaners in its charity-benefits programmes with its refusal to help impoverished Afrikaners, we are perfectly entitled to also ‘discriminate’ when raising funds for this endangered white minority in South Africa.
