Remains of murdered farmer Jeff Erasmus, 66, recovered from Klippan, Welkom FS Jan292011

2011-01-30 Tom de Wet. WELKOM. Sixty-six year old Jeff Erasmus went missing from his townhouse in December 2009. He was reported missing after his locked-in dog was rescued by neighbours. The only thing missing  from Jeff Erasmus’ house was a blanket from his bed. A month later, anglers discovered a ‘neatly-amputated’ lower-leg in the deep waterhole at Klippan.

ERASMUS JEFF, 66, murdered WELKOM remains found in KLIPPAN Jan292011

Two ‘bywoners’ on his farm, Wessel Nagel, 38 and Anthony Cas Killian, 41, were initially arrested for his murder, but because police-divers were unable to locate the rest of Erasmus’ remains in the deep and sewerage-polluted pan, the charges were temporarily withdrawn. However on Thursday there was a breakthrough in the case and these two men were rearrested together with four others – one an agricultural department employee. The six were arrested for rustling 53 heads of cattle from another farm. And while the investigating police were questioning these six suspects, they got an important lead to the missing Jeff Erasmus. Warrant officers ‘Bones” Benecke, Andries Coetzee and  JJ Nel then undertook the very dangerous search in the sewerage-polluted, southern edge of the rocky pan and came across the rest of Mr Erasmus’ eremains. Team-leader Benecke said the divers undertook extraordinary work in extremely filthy and complicated circumstances to recover Mr Erasmus’ skeleton about two metres deep, some 10 metres from the shore.SAPS spokesman Brig. Bennet Nxabela, praised the divers and all the people involved in finding the remains. “Now this case can be brought to court where those accused will have to take responsibility for their deeds,’ he said. http://www.volksblad.com/Suid-Afrika/Nuus/Mensbeendere-uit-pan-geduik-20110130

Murdered white male, brown overalls, maroon shoes, found in Soshanguve Jan292011

2011-01-31 Virginia Keppler of Beeld has placed a public call by SAPS warrant/officer Patrick Zimu for people to come forward if they are missing a relative. The body of a murdered white male was found on January 29 2011 in the black township of Soshanguve north of Pretoria, he said. “The man is suspected of having been strangled to death and also bashed over the head. He is estimated to be between 40 and 50 years old. He wore a brown two-piece worker’s overalls and maroon-coloured shoes. It appears as if he may have been kidnapped somewhere else and dumped in Soshanguve,’ he said. The man was found without any identification documents. Zimu asked people looking for such a person to contact him at telephone 0 082 783 4146 . http://www.beeld.com/Suid-Afrika/Nuus/Witte-se-lyk-in-Soshanguve-20110130

Afrikaans teen escapes 3hr hostage ordeal Villieria video shop Jan 29 2011

January 31 2011 - A white South African teenage girl was taken hostage in a video shop in Villieria on Saturday January 29 2011 – and ended her three-hour ordeal when she pretended to faint just as the SAPS persuaded the gunman to open a shop gate.

VILLIERIA PRETORIA AFRIKAANS HOSTAGE RESCUED JAN292011 BEELDThe Afrikaans girl  managed to escape while  the cop’s task force stormed in. Police warrant-officer Marinda Swanepoel said the girl’s ordeal started when she had briefly stepped outside the video shop at about 1.45pm. A 32-year-old man, calling himself “Jan”, said he wanted to rent a movie. Both entered the shop. “Jan” put two DVDs on the counter. Suddenly the man – no description given -- put a pistol on the counter, demanding money, the girl’s cellphone and her car. He forced her to a storeroom where he tied her legs with a black plastic bag. He wrapped newspaper around her wrists before tying them with a wire coat hanger. Then he shoved paper into her mouth and tied it with a black bag. When a customer entered the shop “Jan” told him it was closed. “He had taken the girl’s R30, cellphone and car keys, and got into her car. When the customer asked the suspect what he was doing in the girl’s car he jumped out and ran back into the shop, closing the security gate and door behind him,” Swanepoel said. The customer called for help. Within minutes offficers from the security company, the police, metro police, hostage negotiators, the task force and medical staff all descended on the scene. A police officer and a negotiator spoke to Jan through the door. By this time he’d untied the girl – she probably also was sexually abused, that’s why her name is not mentioned -- and brought her from the storeroom. During hours of negotiations the man lost his temper and became upset when he saw police outside. “At 4.30pm the girl stood near the door. She pretended to pass out. “The police told ‘Jan’ he must allow her to get medical help as she could ‘die’, and then there’s be a murder charge,” said Swanepoel. “The man opened the door. Within seconds the girl jumped up and ran out.” The girl was taken to hospital for shock and discharged. Police discovered the suspect’s weapon was a plastic toy gun. He is expected to appear in court Monday to set a remand date for bail. Cape Times http://www.iol.co.za/news/crime-courts/teen-escapes-hostage-taker-s-clutches-1.1019036

Three top cops from Pietersburg organised crime unit arrested Jan 29 for helping robber escape

Pietersburg. Three senior policemen from the organised crime unit in Pietersburg/Polokwane were arrested for freeing an armed-robbery suspect in exchange for large bribes. An unnamed SAPS captain and two warrant officers  had ”allegedly acted together to help withdraw a robbery case from court and set the suspect free”, said Lt-col Mohale Ramatseba. SAPS PIETERSBURG ORG CRIME UNIT 3 COPS ARRESTED JAN292011

He said: “One of the officers apparently pretended to be the victim of a robbery in order to withdraw a case in the Polokwane Magistrate's Court in April 2009. The police captain (a Group Commander) connived with the Warrant Officers in ensuring that the case against the common robbery suspect was withdrawn by court,” Ramatseba said.  Instead of taking him to be arrested, the three policemen allegedly set him free – allegedly in exchange for R16,500 in cash and a plasma-TV, and one of the officers also was given a car and a fridge, while a third one received R3,000. The alleged robbery-suspect who’d bribed them was pointed out by the three arrested cops. “The captain's car was confiscated but the fridge and TV have not been found. The trio would appear in the Polokwane Magistrate's Court on Monday on charges of corruption and defeating the ends of justice. They also faced the possibility of suspension following internal investigations,”  said Ramatseba - http://www.iol.co.za/news/crime-courts/cops-held-for-allegedly-aiding-robber-1.1018694

ATTACKS ON WHITES DECEMBER 2010 AND JANUARY 2011:

Attacks peaked to 10 on Thurs. Dec 16 2010 (Day of Vow) and on Wed. January 19 2011 (graph).

Please note that the maps shows the total of South African whites who were attacked throughout the southern African subcontinent. It must be clear that whites are being attacked in unproportionally-large numbers in their home-country but also are not safe in other southern-African countries. They were also attacked and murdered in Namibia, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Mozambique;  an Afrikaner couple was also killed on an island near Madagaskar,  and two Afrikaner crewmembers also were kidnapped from a yacht by Somalian pirates while enroute to Richards Bay. This empoverished couple now is being held in a Somalian hellhole in Mogadishu.

Magistrate arrested over hit list

Magistrate Ronnie Rambau admitted that he ordered the murders of five Afrikaners, a black district magistrate and three police officers… but was still released on R50,000 bail…

Jan 21 2011 - Louis Trichardt regional magistrate Ronnie Rambau was arrested yet again over the past weekend, this time on a charge of conspiracy to commit murder -- after a hitlist in his own handwriting was handed in to the SAPS Counter-intelligence unit, reports Isabel Venter of the Zoutpansburger newspaper.

He admitted writing the hitlist for two witch-doctors who turned state-witnesses – with Rambau saing at his bail-hearing that “ he wanted to liberate the people on the list from the hatred they held against him.” He was released on R50,000 bail.

Zoutpansburger magistrate Ronnie Rambau hitlist of his enemies Jan212011

LOUIS TRICHARDT. Among the names on the hit list is that of district magistrate Marie Viljoen, senior state prosecutor AndrĂ© Weideman, district prosecutor Reino Mostert, district prosecutor Hylke Janse van Rensburg, senior prosecutor Deon Laminga (five Afrikaners), black district magistrate Chris Mthombeni  and three policemen (one a captain and two sergeants whose identities were not revealed).

  • Venter reports that all nine are involved in Rambau’s pending corruption case in Musina. Five live in Louis Trichardt.

Two local witch doctors, who turned state witnesses, stated that they had already received payment from Rambau to murder the people on the list. The one told police that he had been paid R850 to kill all nine, while the other was paid R3 500.

The complainant in the case, whose identity is being withheld at this stage for her own safety, handed the list to the police, fearing the worst.

  • My gun is for shooting people who make me angry…
  • In her police statement, she says Rambau repeatedly told her that his gun was not for shooting birds, but for shooting people who made him angry.

A warrant for Rambau’s arrest was issued on Friday (14 Jan). Although he initially told police by telephone that he would hand himself over, police waited in vain outside his Louis Trichardt home. Rambau eluded police for several hours, but eventually surrendered himself at around 01:30 on Saturday.

He has two brothers in the Louis Trichardt Police force…

Rambau was locked up in the police cells in Louis Trichardt, but once again his influence as regional magistrate apparently scored him some points with local police. According to information, senior police officials had to intervene once again over the past weekend when they found out that Rambau had received assistance in an attempt to bring a bail application in Giyani for his release, without even being charged yet.

  • Rambau apparently has two brothers, one a warrant officer and the other a lieutenant-colonel, working at the Makhado SAPS. Rambau was also allegedly allowed to receive and make phone calls from his cell phone while in the police’s holding cells in Louis Trichardt. He enjoyed similar privileges from the Musina police when he was arrested on corruption charges in February last year.

Following his arrest last year, Rambau was found wandering around the police station, uncuffed and out of the police cells. Shortly after this discovery, and following senior police intervention, Rambau was moved to the police holding cells at Tshamutumbu, where he spent the weekend behind bars.

Magistrate to be appointed for his case from outside the Thohoyandou cluster…

Rambau appeared in the Giyani Magistrate´s Court on Monday on a charge of conspiracy to commit murder. His case was, however, postponed until Tuesday in order for a magistrate to be appointed from outside the Thohoyandou cluster to hear his bail application.

He did not deny writing the hit-list… but was granted R50,000 bail….

Rambau re-appeared in court on Tuesday, inside a packed court room, with some people standing in the hallway outside the court to follow proceedings. During cross-examination, Rambau did not deny writing the list. He claimed he had approached the witch doctors and given them the list, so that they could “liberate the people on the list from the hatred they held against him…” [Rambau].

Rambau was granted R50 000 bail. As part of his bail conditions, he is restricted to Louis Trichardt and may only leave town to attend his corruption case in Musina. He also has to report to the Makhado Police Station twice a day and is to have no contact with the complainants in Giyani.

  • His being confined to Louis Trichardt raised a number of eyebrows, as five of the people whose names appear on the hit list also live in Louis Trichardt.

Forced to hand in passport and all his weapons – including those unregistered ones…

The magistrate also ordered Rambau to hand in his passport and all weapons and ammunition in his possession, as well as, interestingly enough, those weapons the police do not know of. His case was postponed until April 25 for further investigation.

On April 7, Rambau will have to appear in the Musina Magistrate’s Court once again in connection with the corruption case against him. Rambau and his co-accused, district prosecutor Estene Willemse and Musina attorney T E Lubisi, are accused of receiving bribes to influence the outcome of several court cases.

Suspended – but on full pay:

Following Rambau´s arrest, the Magistrate´s Commission stated that they would “consider the new charges against Rambau as a matter of urgency.”

  • At present, Rambau has been suspended but still receives full pay.

"Rambau was suspended by the Justice Minister last year and he is not at the office," said Mr Danie Schoeman, secretary of the commission in reaction to enquiries by Zoutpansburger. http://networkedblogs.com/dpfh7

Boer gunsmith Kobus de Vries: another mystery SAPS death

Kobus de Vries, 54, of Babanango, KZN, Boer gunsmith, mowed down under mysterious circumstances by 40-member cop-team with 3 sharpshooters -  Jan 20 2011

---------------

The Sunday Tribune, describing the mysterious death of Boer gunsmith Kobus de Vries, concludes that there are more questions than answers surrounding his death at the hands of the SAPS on January 20 2011. In the first news reports, the police had even claimed that he’d committed suicide.

DeVries Thinus gunsmith farmer Jan202011 mowed down by SAPS Babanango KZN

In the article by Vivian Attwood and Helen Grange, De Vries’s brother Thinus remained adamant the SAPS overreacted very badly – after a very minor incident with the female driver of an Eskom truck, and in which his vehicle only sustained a slight scrape, the police showed up with some 40 heavily-armed police officers including tactical-response sharpshooters. Yet none of these police officers were ever under serious threat, said Thinus.  The cops claim otherwise, saying that ‘De Vries was shot when he fired at local police and tactical response team members after a lengthy standoff at his farmhouse. “

His relatives have hired a private investigator and also engaged the services of a private pathologist to establish exactly what did happen to him during the police shootout. He was buried in his hometown of Heidelberg on Saturday 29 January, writes the Tribune, whose journalists were present at the service. Thinus alleged during the commemorative service that the police had used a farm worker to lure De Vries out of his homestead – with promises that he would not be fired on.  The injuries indicate that he was shot in the back while ‘allegedly attempting to run back into his home’.

  • “Three shots were fired by (police sharpshooters in their hiding places)  from two different calibre guns. The second bullet hit his arm. As he stumbled into his house, his shotgun hanging at his side, a third bullet hit him in the neck and killed him,” Thinus was reported as saying at yesterday’s funeral service. He also said his brother had no trust or confidence in the Babanango police – and that he had an “arrangement” with the SAPS – as do many of the country’s besieged farmers -- that they would not enter his property without his advance permission.

Censorbugbear-reports will await the results of the private investigations and the private forensic report before publishing both sides of the story in as much detail as possible. Large army convoys hit SA roads

LARGE MILITARY EXERCISES IN SA from JAN 30 TO FEB 24

In what is claimed to be a ‘large joint interdepartmental
military exercise’ the SA national defence force is warning motorists to get out of the way of their military convoys enroute to Lohathla in the North Cape from Sunday, Jan 30 to Feb 24 2011.

-----------
More troop convoys also will leave from their military bases from early-Monday, said their statement, broadcast early on Sunday morning on the Afrikaans “Radio Sonder Grense”. http://www.rsg.co.za/nuusbulletins.asp#time0800

Lohathla military base is located south of Kuruman and north-west of Kimberley.

‘Salaries boosted, many new recruits, air force fly-overs above Pretoria…
It’s not clear why there is such a sudden build-up of the SANDF this year: they have boosted military salaries considerably, inducted 4,000 new recruits in their ranks and the air force also held previously unannounced exercises over Pretoria the past weekend, claiming that this was done as part of their ‘family open day’ programme.
The SA military also recently helped evacuate stranded residents in Upington and Keimoes after unprecedented flooding – which has made northern Cape roads nearly unpassable in many places. This may hamper military operations…
Also, due to the floods, the Limpopo region also has suffered widespread structural damage to their roads-system and food-production on many farms has come to a standstill, with a great many crop-fields flooded and the crops destroyed. Several large poultry-farms lin Limpopo with production of 40,000 fryers a week, also were hard-hit by the flooding as feed-supplies could not reach them across the damaged roads.

White families attacked in rural, urban and suburban homes

Farmitracker.com reports

CRIME MAP

The most amazing feature of this crime map and its accompanying graph is the fact that between Jan 1 2010 – during the publicity runup to the World Cup 2010 and throughout the WC2010 --  attacks against white families concentrated on the rural homesteads and were reported  at a steady rate of once a day.

----------

However immediately after the end of the international football tournaments, after all the ‘white’ tourists had left the urban regions and returned home, there was a sudden upsurge in armed violence targetting white families countrywide.

The badly injured Afrikaans woman managed to phone her son Schalk junior, who assisted  her in her job. He was driving about ten minutes behind her in his own car. Beeld journalist Dries Liebenberg  noted that only Mrs Visser’s handbag was ‘robbed’. The truck was left untouched.

Her husband Schalk sr, 56, was also murdered in 2006 by an armed gang when his Beeld-delivery van had broken down on the same N2 freeway and he was gunned down. Schalk Visser junior, who now has lost both parents in armed violence on the same highway, said his mom had been placed on a ventilator after suffering permanent paralysis from her spinal injuries. She was only able to move her lips and was able to reply by flicking her eyelids ‘yes’ or ‘no’ to reply to their questions. Her daughter Mrs Ize Viljoen of Roodepoort said Mrs Visser was someone who was ‘always smiling, chatting with people and never sat still’.   Memorial services were scheduled for Saturday 15:00 in the Dutch-Reformed Church in Margate, and on 5 February at noon at the NG church Sesmylspruit in Von Williegh-Drive, Centurion for Gauteng friends and relatives. http://www.beeld.com/Suid-Afrika/Nuus/Vrou-van-Beeld-sterf-na-aanval-20110126

Marais family, Wesselsbron targets of cops, hired killers

----------

Armed attack by six uniformed cops created permanent fear, trauma for Marais Boer family, Wesselsbron

  • Four contract killers were captured by Wesselsbron farm-watch in Oct 2010 who had been paid R1000 each to kill Marais, who from yesterday is testifying as the main State witness in a high-level corruption trial involving leading ANC-members…

Virginia, Free State. Local well-known boer Carel Marais, farmer and businessman of Wesselsbron, testified about he and his family still receiving death-threats after they were attacked by four black police officers, an ex-cop and the brother of a leading ANC-MEC in the legislature, on their Free State farm. “We try to stay positive but it’s not so easy every day. To know that our lives also are still being threatened, is difficult. We have lost all our faith in the police.’

Kill the Boers genocidal hatespeech chant by ANC is now illegal however a court soon is to decide whether to unban it

Despite repeated threats against his life, and the fact that four contract-killers had already been captured by the local Marnet farm watch when they were trying to kill him, Marais courageously testified yesterday in the corruption-trial of the six unnamed, highly-placed black Free State men.

  • Marais had also testified on 4 October 2010 that four hired black killers had also been sent from Gauteng to his farm to kill him so that he would not be able to testify at their corruption trial yesterday. Members of the local farm-watch Marnet captured the men in a road block on his farm…

The Boer businessman’s testimony was backed up by SAPS inspector Nico Smith who testified on the same day that he himself also was threatened with contract-killers if he pursued his investigation -  and that it was established that the four black men arrested by the farm-watch while trying kill Marais, had been paid R1,000 ($100) each for it. Smith also handed in signed and sworn statements from specific, well-informed prisoners at Odendaalsrust confirming that a contract-killing was taken out against Marais.

Tom de Wet yesterday noted that the six (unidentified) black men on trial for corruption  - four black police officers, one black ex-police officer and the brother of an ANC-MEC in the Free State legislature -- had shown up at the Marais farm dressed in police uniform, and attacked the family, holding them up at gunpoint. He has since then had to install thousands of Rands worth of security equipment, now has to pack a gun every day for self-protection as they are ver likely still being earmarked as targets by contract-killers. It would be impossible for the family to join the witness-protection programme because of his business interests and his farm.  His attorney Tom Bothma confirmed that Marais has lodged a civilian damages-law suit of more than R2,8million against the SAPS.

2010-10-04 Free State Farmer Carel Marais and wife escape unscathed from 4 hired killers
sent to kill him before his testimony in 24 Jan. Free State corruption trial…

2010-10-04  Tom de Wet reports in Volksblad from WESSELSBRON that local farmer Carel Marais, 59, had his life saved by the restlessness of his little Jack Russell-dog which usually is very calm. He said the dog alerted him and his wife to the presence of four armed black men who ‘were there to kill me so that I would not testify in a corruption trial.’

Marais is the main witness in the trial of nine men which is scheduled from 24 January next year at the Virginia High Court. One of the investigating officers in the case, inspector Nico Smith, confirmed that he was also threatened with contract-killers. Said Marais: “I have no doubt that those four men from Gauteng, who were each found with R1,000 cash on them after their arrest, had come to kill me.”

The SAPS also obtained sworn statements from specific prisoners at Odendaalsrus confirming that a contract-killing was taken out against Marais. He and his wife Ina were first alerted by a ‘bird in the garden making very strange noises,’ they said. Only later did they realise that the four armed attackers were whistling like that to communicate with each other. The couple also were alerted by the fact that their little dog was jumping up and down and barking loudly near some bushes in the front garden. When he walked closer he saw a black man pointing a firearm at him – but Marais was faster, fired off a shot and ran behind a wall to hide – running smack-dab into three other gunmen who fled.

  • His gun failed to fire at that point and he yelled at his wife to lock the front door while he rushed inside through the backdoor and immediately raised the alarm on the Marnet-farm-security radio network.

Neighbours arrived within five minutes and other farmers also set up road-blocks, capturing the four armed suspects within half-an-hour about 2km from the homestead. Their firearms were ‘missing’ said Marais.

Agri-Free State security chief Hennie Gerber said the farm-watch units had acted pro-actively by setting up road-blocks, as they also did in the attack a week earlier against Mrs Cecelia Steynberg, who had shot an attacker inside her bedroom before he could kill her. “If our security plan is in place and the cooperation is there, the suspects won’t get away”, Gerber said. SAPS sergeant  Mmako Mophiring, confirmed that the four suspects – all from Gauteng province, were in the custody of the Falcons, the organised crime-unit and that their vehicle was confiscated.   Volksblad http://www.volksblad.com/Suid-Afrika/Nuus/Boer-glo-aanval-op-sy-plaas-was-om-sy-getuienis-te-verhinder-20101004

SABC cranked up Mugabe propaganda

SABC cranked up pro-Mugabe propaganda

26 Jan 2011 – Johannesburg. In stunning revelations that directly implicates ex-Pres. Thabo Mbeki, a SA high court judgment ruling revealed that state-owned SABC-TV unlawfully manipulated news items on Zimbabwe’s 2004/5 elections – and also blacklisted certain white commentators perceived of being anti-Mugabe…

A high court judge in Johannesburg ruledthat the SABC was guilty of ‘manipulating the news in 2005 and 2006’, in a ruling that will boost criticism of the way the SA state-owned broadcaster manipulates political news. Judge Neels Claassens also ruled that an ex-head of news ‘dishonestly tried to cover up this manipulation.’

Nico de Lange: throat cut in Krugersdorp

--------------------------

Nico de Lange, 55, Sat Jan 22 2011, stabbed to death, West Village, Krugersdorp -

DE LANGE NICO 55 Krugersdorp West Village stabbed to death Jan232011

WEST VILLAGE, Krugersdorp. 55-year-old Nico de Lange was concerned about the three aggressive youths who kept tearing around at high speed on his erf in their purple Opel Corsa in West Village and endangering his family, wrote Beeld journalists Jacques Steenkamp and Pauli van Wyk. At around 16:30 on Saturday Jan 22 2011 the three youths were spinning their wheels on his erf in front of his house again, so he stepped outside to speak to them.

His brother-in-law Frik Page, 60, said “Nico stepped outside to confront them. He wasn’t ever afraid to use his fists and when the guys attacked him, he fought back. One of them then threatened to kill him,’ said Page. After this incident the three males got into their purple car and chased off in it while De Lange went back inside his home. “However just minutes later the man came back in the same car and stopped in front of Nico’s house with a knife stuck in the back of his pants. Nico was at the kitchen door when the man walked towards him – and slashed him across one of his wrists with his knife, then stabbed Nico in his neck and cut through his artery, saying that he should get ready for his funeral. There was a lot of blood.’

His friend stood laughing…

Mr De Lange’s fiancee’s 15-year-old daughter, who also witnessed the murder and thus cannot be identified for her own safety, said the knifeman ran right past her to his car after stabbing Mr de Lange. “One of his mates stood laughing next to the car. I ran after them to write down the Corsa’s registration number so that they could be captured,’ said the girl. Meanwhile De Lange, bleeding profusely, was staggering behind her towards the gate – making certain that she and her mother were safe, she said. “Then he collapsed and died”.

SAPS captain Jacob Raboroko said neighbours of De Lange contacted the SAPS and the three men in the purple Corsa were traced and arrested. They are still searching for the murder-knife, he added. Apparently while one of the men, aged 26, was in police custody, ‘he had some kind of an attack and taken to a local hospital, where he is recovering under police guard.’

Mr De Lange’s funeral was arranged for Friday 11:00 from the AGS-church in Krugersdorp. He is survived by his daughter Jolene de Lange, 25. Note: Beeld did not mention the race of the attackers.. http://www.beeld.com/Suid-Afrika/Nuus/Man-sterf-nadat-hy-kyk-of-2-veilig-is-20110124

Julius Malema investigated for genocide-incitement

--------------------------

South Africa’s ruling ANC youth-league leader Julius Malema is being investigated by the North-Gauteng Public Prosecutor’s office for alleged incitement to genocide of the Afrikaner-Boer minority with his public “Shoot the Boer/Kill the Boer’ chanting. He refuses to obey the court order banning the song from being chanted in public.

--------------------

PRAAG, Pretoria. The National Prosecutor’s North Gauteng office  has confirmed that an investigation has been launched against ANC-youth league leader Julius Malema on charges of ‘incitement to genocide of the Boer minority’.

This was confirmed by Advocate Gerrie Nel of the national prosecuting authority in a letter to Afrikaner freedom fighter Dr Dan Roodt of the pro-Afrikaans Action Group.

------------

Nel confirmed that an investigation was launched against Malema ‘concerning the application of Act 27 of 2002 under the Human Rights Act of South Africa  – which incorporated the Rome Statute prohibiting genocide and the incitement to genocide in its entirety.  Recently Rwandese pop-singer Simon Bikindo was sentenced to 15 years imprisonment for singing genocide-inciting songs in 1994 in which he encouraged Hutus to kill Tutsis.

Roodt said ‘PRAAG is looking forward to the application of the international human-rights statutes in South Africa because neither the local laws nor the authorities are protecting national minorities such as the Afrikaner nation against these forms of genocidal incitements. A large number of ethnic- and racist murders are taking place in South Africa. It has become absolutely essential that action be undertaken urgently against the great many incitements to undertake such genocidal acts. Given the lawlessness in South Africa, we fear that gruesome mass-murders cannot be excluded in the near future if these incitements to undertake a Boer genocide are not acted against urgently’.

PRAAG has also declared to make 2011 the “Year to Stop the Afrikaner Genocide’, he stated.  ‘ The murders of Boer families could be ended within six months if the international community cooperated and if the Rome Statute was firmly enforced inside South Africa.

Roodt is departing for the USA soon where he will raise the increasingly desperate issue of the Afrikaner-Boer genocide with members of the US Senate, the US Peace Institute and other parties.

Why have our political parties not called on the UN to intervene?

He said:
