White patients treated like dirt in public hospitals

Bloemfontein National Hospital has one doctor for 500 patients…’It’s not too bad,’ says health spokesman Jabu Mbalula…

2010-11-08 BLOEMFONTEIN. Frail, elderly Afrikaner patients such as 93-year-old Kitty Nel of Petrusburg and Sarel Germishuyzen of Bloemfontein are being dumped untreated for hours on matresses in the hallway of the National Hospital before they are seen by the one doctor on duty. Kitty Nel has had two strokes and was badly dehydrated. She needed help immediately. Seriously injured white patients also are dumped from their wheelchairs on the floor... and the wheelchairs given to black patients…

There’s money to waste on parties…

Karen Ebersohn writes in Volksblad: "There seems to be no end to the shocking incidents in Bloemfontein's state hospitals. Two weeks ago a female pediatrician was gang-raped at the Pelonomi Hospital. This week we report about the maltreatment of Afrikaner patients,
such as Mrs Kitty Nel (93) of Petrusburg - dumped for hours on a mattress in the hallways of the National Hospitals. She'd had two strokes earlier and is very weak. Her brother-inlaw Johan van der Merwe said he took her to hospital at 10am on Monday.

When Volksblad visited her there she was still lying on the bench at 4pm – untreated, yet obviously very weakened and unable to talk or react to questions. Next to her was another female patient in a puddle of blood, without relatives and unable to talk.

Two corpses fetched from ICU at 4pm…

Patient Sarel Germishuizen said he arrived at 10am with serious hip- and back injuries and was unable to walk. "A doctor threw me out of the wheelchair and gave it to another patient,' he said. So I had to lie down on the floor next to the hallway wall.' While waiting he noticed that two corpses were collected at 4pm by the health department's forensic unit - people who'd just died in the ICU department.

Another Bloemfontein resident who also took his wife to that hospital - but did not want his name published – had phoned Volksblad to alert them to the situation.

There’s money to waste on parties…

"I am very angry. Where is our department? There's money to waste on parties. But here's a frail elderly woman - clearly dehydrated and nearly comatose. She urgently needs help now.' His information was that there was only one doctor available for 500 patients on Monday.

Yet the health department spokesman Jabu Mbalula said 'it wasn't so bad: the shortage of doctors at the National Hospital is bad, but not that bad. And we haven't received any official reports about this.'

Afrikaner farmers flee to East Europe

Scores of South African farmers are preparing to start a new life in the former Soviet republic of Georgia, after the country invited them to buy commercial agricultural land it has just put up for sale…

-------------------

“A delegation of 12 farmers from the Transvaal Agricultural Union (TAU) met government officials in Tbilisi, Georgia, in September to discuss the possibility of (commercial) South African farmers emigrating, and returned from the trip invigorated, writes Jenni Marsh, editor of “The South African.”

ATTACKS AGAINST WHITE SA SOAR TO TEN A DAY NOV 2010 FARMITRACKER MAP

Graph Nov 5 2010  on http://www.farmitracker.com shows that attacks against all the whites in South Africa soared this year to ten a day by half-october 2010 – up from one a day in January… However white Afrikaans-speakers, including farmers and smallholders, are targetted 96% of the time in these attacks, and often nothing is stolen: indicating that the motives are racist rather than robbery…

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Since then, 80 South African farmers – who the Georgian government has described as the “best in the world” – have contacted the TAU and expressed a desire to leave South Africa. Wanni Scribante, from the De Wildt farming region near Pretoria (Censorbugbear-editor: this also is the region north of greater Pretoria which is the most targetted by armed militia youth gangs in South Africa), was part of the delegation that went to Tbilisi. “What we found was a place that had been devastated by communism and socialism and was miles behind in terms of commercial farming – 70 years ago the development just stopped,” he says. “We also found a young generation that really want to break out of that situation. Even before we went, the TAU chairman’s phone did not stop ringing.”

Bennie Van Zyl, chairman of the TAU, says farmers are living in fear and are now willing to give up the sunshine of South Africa for Georgia’s bitterly cold winters. “Land is available in Georgia, but the Government knows that it only has small scale farmers who don’t have the skills to be commercial farmers,” he said. “It realised that in SA we have a lot of skilled, capable workers but a government that is no good for us. The biggest problem we face is rural safety - farmers are being killed in their beds and that is not something we are proud of.”

An advisory committee of three experts will return to Georgia in December to analyse agricultural possibilities. The team will help Georgia, currently importing about 70 per cent of its domestic food requirements, exploit its land to produce wheat, maize, beef, sheep, pork, poultry and fruit.

However, the South African experts need to determine whether Georgia, which has 500mm rainfall per annum in the east and 4,500mm in the west and snowfall in the winter, has the right conditions to farm these crops and animals. But the TAU - through which emigrating farmers must go through to apply to buy a maximum of 80 hectares of land - is convinced Georgia offers the chance to live a life free from the constant threat of crime and corruption.

We can’t even go outside at night any more… we don’t feel safe in SA

Wynand Liebenberg, 42, is an (Afrikaner) sheep farmer in Beaufort West, Western Cape, who currently has no plans to leave South Africa - but says he would consider a move to Georgia if the first wave of emigration was successful. “The government should accept the fact that white people are part of South Africa and they want to make a positive contribution, if they are allowed to,” he says. “My wife and I inherited our farm from my father and we love this land. We don’t want to leave. We don’t have any friends in Georgia - we don’t even know anyone who has been there to visit. But we don’t feel safe in South Africa anymore - we can’t even go outside at night.”

Ewald Van Huyssteen, 22, left South Africa in 2002, when his (Afrikaner) family relocated from their farm in the Free State, to Hemel Hempstead (in the UK), where he finished his education. “My dad had heard too many stories of farm attacks and then it happened to a friend, we had to leave. We were lucky, as we had family in the UK who helped us start again, but he still dreams of returning to South Africa one day - but for me, I’d never go back,” says Van Huyssteen.

ANC-regime has turned farming into a racial issue – black against white…

There are also fears for the South African economy in the wake of an exodus of the majority of its commercial farmers. Mr Van Zyl says: “We’ve been asking the Government what will happen to the economy if commercial farmers leave for a long time - 10 years, in fact - and they don’t want to listen. They make it into a racial issue - black against white. But it’s nothing to do with that. In South Africa, we don’t get any subsidies from the Government. In Georgia, it’s different. If you need running water on your farm, it’s the Government’s responsibility to provide it.”

Georgia’s offer could also provide an escape route for farmers in Zimbabwe, where the Commercial Farmers’ Organisation says there has been a “renewed onslaught” of farm seizures and attacks in recent weeks. While no one from Zimbabwe has contacted the TAU, so far, the offer is open to all African states. (In Zimbabwe, 24 farmers have been killed under the Mugabe-regime, two in October 2010.)

However, the idea of Georgia becoming a melting pot for displaced white farmers has been met with criticism from Georgia’s opposition party. “Our government is conducting a policy of betrayal of its own country,” says Giorgi Gugava, ideological secretary of the Labour Party. “Our farmers will be forced to abandon their land because they cannot afford to farm. They don’t produce enough to sustain themselves, let alone sell anything to make a profit.”

  • However, Mr Gugava’s fears may be in vain. Mr Van Zyl hopes news of Georgia’s offer will make President Zuma sit up and listen to the needs of white (Afrikaner) farmers. “We want to stay here, this is our country ... but to stay is not possible for us anymore unless something changes - and soon.”

ANC youth league supports N.Korea

We  unapologetically support North Korea”ANC youth league spokesman Floyd Shivambu on the eve of the G20 financial summit in South Korea…

Tuesday 9 November 2010 – JOHANNESBURG. South African politicians this week came down hard on the public support given by the African National Congress' youth league  to the North Korean dictatorship.

North Korean Concentration camps supported by ANC youth league 25 million North Koreans today live in a nation that is, essentially, a prison-state  - http://linkorea.xanga.com/664090551/item/

----------------------------------------

Democratic Alliance youth league chairman Mbali Ntuli warned today that "The ANC secretary general (he said was named Gwede Mantashe) should take action against his own ANC youth league -- if it turns out that they have indeed provided vocal support for the North Korean dictator Kim Jong Il." He warned that pres. Jacob Zuma must also urgently address this before his forthcoming trip to the G-20 economic conference in South Korea on Nov 11-12.

South Africa is a member of the Group of Twenty finance ministers and central bank governors;  established in Berlin in 1999 to bring together important industrialized and developing economies to discuss key issues in the global economy – which currently is plunging into a deepening crisis affecting many millions of people.

The North Korean news agency has quote unnamed ANC youth league officials as 'enthusiastically supporting North Korea" - saying that 'in the past few months the league sent a delegation to a conference in North Korea and praised its dictator King Jong-il as 'the great guardian of peace'.

Pres Jacob Zuma recently increased the influence of the black-racist youth league when he dumped former Mbeki-cabinet members and replaced them with i.a. three former youth league presidents as new Cabinet Ministers on October 31 - thus massively boosting the influence of such black radicals inside his cabinet. http://www.businessday.co.za/articles/Content.aspx?id=126190

We support North Korea unapologetically – ANC youth league

ANC youth league spokesman Floyd Shivambu floydn@gmail.com  confirmed that a delegation was sent in June to North Korea to the World Festival of Youth and Students.

“We support North Korea unapologetically,” league spokesman Floyd Shivambu said - adding: “However, we have never said anything except declaring support for North Korea.”

This was contradicted by several reports in the KCNA news agency which i.a. claimed that  ‘the secretary-general of the ANC Youth League of SA praised Kim Jong-il as the great guardian who firmly guarantees peace and security of not only the Korean Peninsula but the world with his Sonngun (military first) politics.”

ANC youth league secretaru gemera; Vuyiswa Tulelo supports North Korea

According to the youth league’s own website, its current secretary-general is the ambitious Mormon teacher Ms Vuyiswa Tulelo, 32. (pictured). She is described as ‘having an Afro-centric style, a firecracker, the only woman in the top leadership of the youth league. An organiser and strategist with a BA (Politics) from Wits and a board member of the Umsobomvu Youth Fund.’

Mr Shivambu however denied that the quoted youth league representatives had ever made these specific comments (detailed below). North Korea's state-run news agency KCNA recently used the following quotes -  ostensibly obtained from the ANC Youth League secretary-general  - quotes which the ANC youth league spokesman now deny as ever having been spoken.

The news agency KCNA stated in a report on August 12 2010 that:

  • "August 12 2010 Juch 99 - "Songun Politics of DPRK Highly Praised" Pyongyang(KCNA) -- "A lecture took place in Mexico and film shows in South Africa and Thailand on August 6 on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of General Secretary Kim Jong Il's start of the Songun revolutionary leadership. The president of the Mexican National Coordinating Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea in a lecture explained in detail about the essence, validity and vitality of the Songun politics with the reality of the DPRK.Saying that the Songun politics pursued by Kim Jong Il is the original political mode never known to the world, he stressed that its might is being strikingly demonstrated in the DPRK which has reliably defended socialism from the offensive of the imperialist allied forces to stifle it.
"The secretary-general of the African National Congress Youth League of South Africa praised Kim Jong Il as the great guardian who firmly guarantees peace and security of not only the Korean Peninsula but the world with his Songun politics. Participants of the film shows watched Korean films including 'Reply of Korea'."
    url:

They also quoted a "vice-chairman of the ANC youth league" as saying on Sept 3 2010:
"The stand of the DPRK is just and fair."

  • i.a.:- September 3. 2010 Juch 99 - Just Cause of Korean People Supported
"Pyongyang, September 3 (KCNA) -- "The 1st meeting of the National Council of the African National Congress Youth League of South Africa, held on August 26, expressed full support for the Korean people's cause of justice.Strongly condemning the U.S. belligerent policy, a vice-chairman of the league, said in a speech: ‘The U.S. is finding fault with the DPRK over its nuclear weapons while threatening it with nukes. We hold that the nuclear issue of the Korean Peninsula should be solved fairly in view of peace and security. The stand of the DPRK is just and fair.' The meeting sharply assailed the anti-DPRK moves of the U.S. and south Korean puppet clique, who recently cooked up the case of warship "Cheonan's" sinking to bring up the case for discussion at the UN and seek a permanent division while extremely aggravating the situation of the peninsula through provocative war exercises for aggression, and fully supported the independent politics of the DPRK and its stand for independent and peaceful reunification."Copyright KOREA NEWS SERVICE(KNS) All Rights Reserved"
    URL:
    http://www.kcna.co.jp/item/2010/201009/news03/20100903-05ee.html

The Democratic Alliance spokesman said the ANC and its Youth League ‘should either distance themselves from these scandalous comments, or they should explain why it is that they are cavorting with despots. Kim Jong-Il's repressive North Korean regime is regarded by Human Rights Watch and Amnesty International as one of the most oppressive on the planet. Concentration camps house many hundreds of thousands of North Korean adults and children, where they are the victims of fierce state repression, including rape, torture and medical experimentations. The country is a totalitarian dictatorship, with one of the worst human rights records anywhere in the world.”

"It is outrageous that any South Africans should be lending support to them. The ANC must make it unequivocally clear whether these are the sorts of views they support, or not. If it turns out that the ANC Youth League are indeed actively supporting the North Korean propaganda offensive, then that also something President Zuma should address, particularly in light of his up-coming trip to South Korea, for the G-20."
