SAPS reservist Amelia Henning, 36, raped, murdered, Hospitaal Park, Bloemfontein OFS
Nov 23 2010: Local SAPS reservist, charge-office clerk Mrs Amelia Henning was raped and stabbed to death in Hospitaal Park, Bloemfontein. Nothing was robbed. This is her distraught ex-husband Frans. Her naked body was discovered by two Afrikaans pupils of the Dr Böhmer school nearby, Dwane Tebrugge, 17 and Alex Smith, 14. The two youths were walking in Pasteur Drive at around 7.30am when they made the terrifying discovery. Mrs Henning was last seen at 19:30 on Nov 22 2010 when she left her home on foot in Fowler Street, Hospitaal Park, said apartment-building owner’s son Coenie Beukes. “She had fetched meat from our freezer to have a braai somewhere,’ he said. She didn’t have a car. Her ex-husband Frans’ second wife Marisa said it was the most difficult day of her life: she had to inform Amelia’s daughters Megan-Lee, 17, and Franschesc, 10, of their mother’s death. Frans was out of town at the time.
I had to tell them their mommy was dead, she wept. “I am sure she didn’t go without a fight. She must have fought like a lion.’ Col. Grieving dog in shock after guarding master’s body for days near Kimberley:
KIMBERLEY – This badly traumatised Yorkie dog was found in Delportshoop near the body of his owner on November 25 2010. SAPS Capt Tony Modise said two anglers found the corpse of the unidentified man – whose race he could not bother to mention – in the confluence of the Hartsrivier and the Vaal Rivier near Delportshoop. The little dog, cold, hungry and terrified, was sitting next to the body, guarding it,

The man’s body was unidentifiable and his body may have been in the water for three days or more. The animal is at the Animal Welfare Society in Kimberley. 2010-11-25 BETHLEHEM, FS - Jana van der Merwe of Volksblad reports that 28-year-old farmworker Petrus Ndaba ‘had leaned arrogantly’ across the accused bench while listening to double life-sentenced pronounced – to be served together – for the gruesome double murders of Afrikaner farming-couple Koos (63) and Retha (66) van Zyl on their farm Poortjie in Senekal near Odendaalsrust on 5 January 2010.

Van Zyl (63) and his wife Retha (66), a much loved local teacher who had just retired - were ‘slaughtered like animals’ on their farm Poortjie – ambushed, tied up, and then cruelly mutilated with a meathook and a screwdriver; they then were shot dead with their own shotgun in a macabre ritualistic slaying.

No remorse – arrogant, smiling at his sentence: The arresting officer said ‘Ndaba’s arrogance was incredible: he looked like he was smiling at his sentence and showed no remorse…’
Son works in USA because of ANC-laws barring whites: However, the couple’s daughters Estie and Marietjie van Zyl heard the sentencing pronounced ‘with calm dignity’ when it was pronounced by judge G.F. Wright. The couple’s son Erik could not be present: he works in the USA. Many Afrikaners have been forced to find work overseas as they are being denied access to the job-market due to their pale skin colour.
Public prosecutor Sophie Giorgi said Ndaba would be considered for parole within 25 years when he had reached the age of 52, commenting: “Apparently it wasn’t enough for Ndaba to await his former employers and stab them with a screw-driver. He also dragged them into the homestead and shot them with their own shotgun in the chest. Mrs Van Zyl, an osteoporosis-sufferer, was still alive when she was shot.”
Investigating police Inspector Steyn Lombard – whose skills in field-tracking led to Ndaba’s sentencing, said his ‘arrogance when hearing the sentence was extraordinary. It seemed as if he took the sentence with a smile – and had no remorse.’
Judge Wright described the double-murders as ‘barbaric and cruel’. He said despite the ‘extinuating circumstances submitted, namely that the unmarried Ndaba had a nine-year-old child, ‘could not soften the damning evidence of the cruelty of his deed. Ndaba denied his guilt through his trial – however co-workers testified that he was ‘very unhappy at being fired’. He also admitted in testimony that the murdered couple had not owed him any money. Soutpan, Free State farmer Koos du Toit (64) died at the Bloemfontein-Medi-Clinic after six weeks of intensive care from burn-wounds sustained in the biggest fires in Free State history and which farmers and police strongly suspect was due to arson. Afrikaner widow Hester Thomas, stabbed, beaten up, Bloemfontein home
Afrikaner widow Hester Thomas was stabbed above the eye, beaten up, choked and tied up in her Bloemfontein home on March 23 2010. She told the Volksblad newspaper that she was 'grateful that she hadn't been raped.' The knifeman hadn't exactly robbed anything of value: just some meat, chease and clothing - and he left many valuables behind. Police list it as a 'residential robbery' instead of a hate-crime.
