"The September National Imbizo is being officially backed by two of the country's most prominent artists, Thandiswa Mazwai and Simphiwe Dana. The two (female singers) will be featured on a panel discussion at the Imbizo on Saturday 25 September where they will talk about the Black condition and what we need to do to change the trajectory of our country. Other exciting highlights of the programme include a talk via Skype with a Black philosopher from the US, Prof Lewis Gordon. He will talk to us about experiences in the Diaspora and lessons we can take from past struggles. So if you would to attend the conference but have still have not registered, you better do so soon.
